Dandelion Meadow at Sunset (2026) Original Oil Painting by Natalia Shaykina

This original oil landscape painting captures a peaceful summer evening by a lake, where delicate white dandelion seed heads fill a lush green meadow. The setting sun casts a warm golden glow across the still water, while trees frame the distant shoreline. The combination of soft blue sky, glowing reflections and fresh greenery creates a tranquil sunset landscape full of natural beauty.

This 30 x 40 cm painting would make a beautiful addition to a living room, bedroom, hallway, office or country home. Its calming colours and peaceful atmosphere are especially appealing to collectors who love dandelion paintings, lake landscapes, sunset art, nature-inspired interiors and original countryside scenery.

I painted this scene to capture that special moment at the end of a summer day when the light becomes softer and everything seems wonderfully still. The delicate dandelion seed heads in the foreground contrast with the smooth reflections on the water, bringing depth and a gentle sense of movement to the composition. The warm sunset creates an inviting atmosphere of peace, quiet and connection with nature.

Created with high-quality professional European oil paints on canvas, the artwork features carefully layered colours, detailed brushwork and subtle textures. The oil technique brings out the delicate dandelions, richly coloured meadow, distant trees and beautiful reflections of evening sunlight on the water.
