Original artwork description:

Culture (Raspberry Rose) has been painted as a contribution to Boris Novak's Group Art Project, 'Yoghurt Culture'. This project examines the notable absence of culture around us and began with a joke from Louise Pirrotta -"If you want culture you'd better buy yoghurt!"

This painting looks at the brightly coloured, metallic nature of the current most influential 'reality' style media.

The painting is ready to hang as the sides are painted and is completed on a deep 10 oz triple primed white box canvas using Ara Artists Acrylics. The paint was applied in many layers by hand and with differing sizes of palette knife and also using bristle brushes and a variety of sponges and cloths.

This work is signed on the back and also comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Materials used:

Ara Artists' Acrylics, Jacksons premium cotton professional quality stretched (10 oz medium texture) triple primed white box canvas
