Original artwork description
Waking up in winter, opening the windows and seeing everything covered in snow is an experience that always struck me as a child. I started from this feeling then, to try to build a scene that could evoke this magical moment, and I liked "The dance of the cranes" as a subject because besides being an important challenge (being able to tell the elegance of the crane's shapes while maintaining a dream atmosphere and at the same time manage a very fragmented whole with large shades and few colors giving priority to understanding the figure but without defining them too much) I confess that it was one of the most difficult paintings I have ever done, both for the delicacy of the idea to express that for the size. A painting that several times I was about to completely erase but that in the end I managed to complete, giving me a lot of satisfaction.
