"Coral Vision" is an original high texture abstract oil painting measuring 8 x 10 inches on a canvas panel, matted to a frame size of 11 x 14, and painted using professional grade oil paint.
The painting is sealed with a final coat of gloss varnish for protection.
Ready to frame, standard size 11 x 14 inches.
Signed on the mat. Titled, signed and dated on the back.
The Inspiration: Much of my work plays on the elements of texture and movement, pieces like “Coral Vision” specifically emphasize the textural elements that naturally come along with oil paintings. Using only one firm-bristled brush, each brush stroke retains its shape and texture. Regardless of color, the process is very therapeutic for me; I can work on these paintings when I have a lot on my mind and need to think or when I need to escape. It’s easy to get lost in the repetitive motion of each brush stroke – they’re uniform but chaotic.
