Global migration comes at a huge local price in terms of the broken connections. Growing up in India predisposed me towards intense color and light. My paintings are diverse in themes and styles. Several recent paintings deal with change and the rate of transition in the 21st century. The mashing of global cultures and thought can be felt in the bewildering cast and the unprecedented etiquettes in several works.
