Construction Destruction (2026) Original Oil Painting by Sherry Edmondson

My Idea for this painting came while waiting at temporary traffic lights I noticed heavy equipment moving about on the horizon a site office of considerable size was being set up. Container offices were being stacked and a number of yellow JCBs were present . The field was very pale almost white and the sky was a washed out pale blue. This abstract records my impression of the impending development of a very large housing development on farmland .
