In this new exploration of form, I have moved beyond the traditional boundaries of the canvas to embrace physical volume and mass. By constructing a near-hemisphere upon a 30-inch circular base, the work becomes a landscape of shadows and light. The dense proliferation of white, flower-like clay elements against a void-like black surface creates a tension between growth and emptiness, anchored by an intentional absence—a singular hole that invites the viewer to look through the sculpture's heart.
