Original artwork description
Collected Self presents a figure that exists as a gathering of multiple gestures, forms, and presences within one body.
The figure is surrounded and supported by its own extensions, hands that appear not as separate elements, but as parts of the same being. Rather than suggesting fragmentation, they create a sense of holding, stabilizing, and assembling. The body becomes a space where different aspects coexist and are brought together.
The composition feels both structured and fluid. The central figure remains calm and grounded, while the surrounding forms move around it, as if organizing or protecting what is at the core.
This work reflects a state of integration, not the absence of complexity, but the ability to contain it. It is about becoming whole not by simplifying, but by allowing multiple parts to exist together within one self.
