Coastal Cliffside View (2023) Original Oil Painting by Aleksandr Dubrovskyy

40 x 30 x 2cm (unframed)

£594.97

When I painted Coastal Cliffside View, I found myself watching the water far longer than the shoreline. Waves dissolved into light, sunlight revealed the stones beneath the surface, and every passing cloud transformed the sea into a new composition of turquoise, emerald, and blue.

For me, this painting is about the quiet rhythm of the ocean. The cliffs remain still while the sea is constantly changing, reminding us that beauty exists in movement rather than permanence. I wanted to preserve that fleeting moment when light, water, and rock become part of the same living landscape.

Painted in oil on canvas with expressive impressionist brushwork, this original work celebrates transparency, color, and the endless dialogue between land and sea.
