“Cloudscape xiv” is 12” x 12” (approximately 30 x 30 cm) oil painting on stretched canvas. It does not have an outer frame.
This painting is part of my cloudscape series which focus on the beauty of the sky at different times of the day and various lighting.
In this painting, I attempted to capture the soft light in the sky on a cloudy day. The slightly sunlit land compliments well with the soft yet vivid sky. This was painted in impressionistic style with loose and bold brushstrokes.
