"Clivia plants are native to South Africa and have become quite popular with collectors. These unusual plants derived their name from the Lady Florentina Clive." (Source: www.gardeningknowhow.com)
I like to enrich the natural colors and thus transform the landscape, where the color takes a more important role than the shape.
This painting is made with the finest watercolor paper: Arches 156 lb (356 gsm) and it is streched over a mdf panel, canvas wrapped style. It has been varnished with 4 coats of wax medium, as well as the the sides, so there is no need of glass to protect it. It has a 1” frame.
All my paintings are professionally packed with great care to ensure safe arrival.
Note: Colors on your computer monitor may show up slightly different than the colors in the original artwork.
