A layered, hyperrealistic composition exploring the modern gaze — who watches, who is watched, and what gets captured. A young woman holds a camera to her face, obscuring her identity, while on her phone screen she is scrolling through Instagram, uploading the very moment being painted. Around her: a fragmented urban backdrop, ghostly white figures caught in everyday moments, vintage posters, a vinyl record — a collage of memory, culture, and the present moment bleeding into each other.
Bold, confident painting with meticulous detail and cinematic depth. The work invites the viewer to question their own role as observer.
