Original artwork description
City Composition #02 catches the city in the stalled movement of rain-heavy traffic. A row of dark vehicles presses towards the foreground, their red tail lights dragging vertical marks through the green road surface. Buildings rise on either side but lose authority in the haze, leaving the queue itself as the dominant architecture. Part of the City Composition series, the work turns congestion into a psychological condition: many people moving together, each sealed inside a private enclosure.
