Red Cherries on Branch (2026) Original Oil Painting by Natalia Shaykina

This original artwork shows ripe red cherries hanging on a branch with fresh green leaves and a soft sunlit garden background. The glossy cherries, natural green tones and warm light create a bright fruit still life with a fresh summer feeling.

This small 18 x 24 cm piece would work beautifully as cherry wall art for a kitchen, dining room, breakfast corner, cottage interior, farmhouse-style home or country house. It is especially suitable for someone who loves cherry art, fruit painting, kitchen decor, botanical subjects and original nature-inspired artwork.

I painted this piece because cherries have such a vivid, joyful presence. Their deep red colour immediately catches the eye, while the green leaves and soft background keep the composition fresh, light and natural. The painting can bring a cheerful summer accent into a small wall space or cosy interior.

Created with high-quality professional European oil paints on premium stretched linen canvas with gallery-wrap edges, the artwork has visible texture, layered brushwork and a refined hand-painted surface. The oil technique allows the cherries, leaves, branch and soft background light to reveal subtle colour variations and delicate detail when seen in person.
