Cherry Blossom Blue (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Laurie Franklin

Acrylic, ink and charcoal on unstretched canvas

Spring Cherry Blossom Blue is an elegant study of branches and cherry blossoms against the soft blue sky.

Reminiscent of Japanese Sumi-e paintings - this tactile artwork is elegant with a soft light warm toned cream/grey and off-white background.

The cherry blossoms are shades of pink, blush and magenta with hints of charcoal black for definition.
