This artwork addresses finding unifying commonalities within a society that is fractured. Memory and history, shared and personal, plan into any worldview. Is finding appreciation for those with different worldviews possible? Can we fully understand another person?

This piece explores what has made us who we are and asks the question, "Can we become unified as a society?" Layered with deeply embedded bits of ephemera, this painting has its own developed memory and history. Memory and history play into our perceptions, motivations, and decisions. The elements that have made it are paritally revealed through scraping and sanding. In a similar way, events that have shaped us are also paritally revealed and sometimes hidden.

This painting is sealed with a UV Topcoat for protection. This piece is sold rolled in a tube, to be stretched at its destination. It can be shipped stretched and ready to hang for an additional shipping fee. Message Tara to discuss this option.
