"Cespugli Bagnati" is an original oil painting on canvas by Antonino Puliafico, developed around flowers and botanical forms. Measuring 197 × 140 cm and dated 2023, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.
The surface is built through palette knife, creating a tactile dialogue between colour, depth and movement.
In the serene light of my studio, I've captured the vibrant and powerful essence of nature. Each stroke of the spatula on the canvas unveils a unique landscape where sky and earth merge in an eternal dance.
Viewed from a distance the composition resolves as a whole; at close range, the viewer encounters the individual marks, ridges and chromatic transitions that animate the surface.
For shipping, the canvas is carefully protected and sent in a heavy-duty tube with tracking, together with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Materials used:
First-rate oil colors of the Florentine brand "DI VOLO" applied with spatula were used for the painting, and the pictorial support is a cottono canvas pre-painted for oil painting with Gesso and Glue.
