This artwork is an exploration of a vivid colored slice of tissue of cells that appear to be inside other cells, it is a stark reminder of our organic nature. The work is in the style of abstract expressionism.
This artwork is painted on professional-grade canvas stretched and sealed with varnish. The canvas has dimensions 142 cm in width by 76 cm in height. The painting wraps around the sides of the stretcher, so the sides are painted in the same style as the surface. As such it does not need a frame.
The artwork was created in 2017.
