My work abounds with frames cut in two and most often with the parts offset from each other, like here, with this impression of sliding. The semi-figurative subject of the ribbon connects the elements in its extension while changing color. Two opposing forces: on one side, distance, like a continent splitting in two, and on the other, rapprochement like a bridge between two shores.
