I wanted to create a large-format black-and-white mezzotint print. I am inspired by surrealist art, and I also love figurative art.
Mezzotint is a very old and technically demanding printmaking technique. Creating a mezzotint is a slow and meticulous process, and preparing the copper plate alone requires a great deal of time and patience.
