I am working lately on an upcoming Trend of Blaack and White Drawings and Paintings, mostly done on paper. It is fun to not be able to hide behind corrections.... On paper, what lands, stays. Still with a Nod to Cassigneul, a’ la the Big Hat, I am back to one of my favorite scenes; a person sitting in a typical French Cafe... ( Although the Cafe’ here is mostly implied.) Simplifying; saying what I want to in “ Fewer Notes” is a fun challenge that I am embracing.
