Building America (2025) Original Acrylic Painting by Dean Anthony Brink
33 x 21 x 2cm (unframed) / 33 x 21cm (actual image size)
£204.17
Original artwork description
This work is based on a photograph taken in Old Town Tacoma, where the railroad approaches the Navy supply ships at the edge of the Chinese Reconciliation Park (in apology and commemoration, historicizing the mob-expulsion of Chinese from Tacoma in 1885). I liked the graffiti on the trains along with the Union Pacific company slogan, "Building America," somehow calling me to document it, the graffiti, this convergence of forces, and the rough beauty of the car parked by the boulders and blocks among weeds, bushes, and wildflowers.
Materials used:
Acrylics, inks, original photo laser-printed on paper collaged linen canvas
Details:
- Acrylic painting on Canvas
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 33 x 21 x 2cm (unframed) / 33 x 21cm (actual image size)
- Ready to hang
- Signed on the back
- Style: Photorealistic
- Subject: Transportation and maps
