Buddies is a realistic figurative sketch study of a pair of twigs covered in lichen and moss. Found upon a spring woodland walk, the pairing of the found twigs adds symbolism of friendship. The use of a simple composition makes the painting quiet and peaceful, a moment of pause on the woodland trail.
18 x 13 cm / 5 x 7” on board
Unframed (framing available on request), will be supplied with a sticky hanging mount so it can be displayed as it is.
