This work was exhibited at my solo show “Hold the Light” in Turkey in 2026.

This work continues my ongoing series with windows, where the window becomes both a frame and a threshold — a quiet place where inner and outer realities meet. In these paintings, the act of looking becomes a form of movement, allowing the visible world to merge with memory, emotion, and imagination.

Here, the window no longer separates but gently opens. Soft curtains filter the light, while the shadows of plants dissolve across the surface like traces of another world entering the room. The view remains partially hidden, yet the work is less concerned with distance than with invitation.

The translucent curtain and shifting light soften the boundary between interior and exterior, allowing the visible world to merge with emotion and imagination. In this work, the window becomes a place of pause and contemplation — a threshold where stillness and motion coexist, and where light gently reveals what cannot always be spoken.
