"Boom Candy"
Oil & Acrylics on canvas ( 100 x 70 cm ) First of a new Pop Art series.
This is my second homage to Candy Barr, American burlesque dancer, stripper, actress who had a rather interesting life, she became a Texas legend as she befriended Jack Ruby ( who killed President JFK 's assassin) dated a mobster,shot her second husband and went to prison for a few years and during that time she wrote a poetry book.
