Bold_232 is an acrylics, sumi-e ink and paint makers on canvas painting. It contrasts different pictorial elements, including bold geometric shapes and sketch-like linework in a strong composition. The background somewhat resembles cold and lifeless concrete, which is broken up by the vibrant colored geometric shapes in orange and yellow and the prominent non-figurative black shape. The painting is inspired by early constructivist paintings, contemporary architectural shape languages (suprematism) and Japanese graphic design.
