Blush Summit Through the Clouds is an original abstract mountain painting capturing the quiet moment a distant peak emerges through layers of cloud and mist.
Soft blush pinks rise into deeper, moody tones, while the mountain appears almost suspended within the atmosphere. Rather than depicting a particular landscape literally, the painting is inspired by the feeling of being high in the mountains as shifting cloud briefly reveals the summit beyond.
Painted with expressive layers and softened detail, the piece sits between abstraction and landscape painting, creating a calm yet dramatic focal point.
Inspired by mountain journeys and the changing light found at altitude, Blush Summit Through the Clouds is part of my continuing exploration of contemporary mountain landscapes and the memories they leave behind.
