Blue Tree (2025) Original Acrylic Painting by Roz Edwards

A large and beautiful impressionist style tree painting. The main colour is shades of blue, but this is on top of a multi coloured background. The painting is built up in many layers of dots. The surface is lightly textured which adds to the natural feel of the work, and catches the light in subtle different ways.


This is part of my popular series of tree paintings. Finding ways to paint trees in a contemporary and stylised manner. Looking at patterns of foliage, and negative shapes between the branches.


The painting is in acrylic on canvas. It has a UV varnish. The sides are painted black. It comes all ready to hang.
