Blue Nudes is the evolution of a photographic research on the female nude begun in 1998.
In the original photos, the models' body were brushed into the darkness by the light of a torch. The series' panels are "imperfect" prints on glass with cyanotype process, Their deliberate imperfection has the intent to confuse the brush strokes of light with the ones on the photographic emulsion, spread manually on glass. Each one of them is therefore an object and a photographic image featuring unique marks, impossible to replicate.
