Blue II (2023) Etchings & engravings by Michaela Wheater

This original print titled 'Blue II' is an etching with spit bite aquatint and a hint of colour achieved by transferring transparent blue ink over part of the image from a stencil. This is the fifth print from a small limited edition of 5 printed on Somerset soft white 300gsm.
Using myself as reference it is a portrait expressing emotion and is part of a small series.
Amongst other places this print has been exhibited in 'Small and Mighty' at the Bankside Gallery, London and the RBSA Print Prize in Birmigham.
