Blue Fire (2022) Original Acrylic Painting by Gela MIKAVA

Blue Fire presents a solitary human figure against a luminous turquoise and green background. An intense blue form rises behind the head, while the lower body dissolves into yellow-green paint and long dark drips. The figure feels suspended between stillness and movement, as though an inner force were becoming visible around it.
Balancing expressive figuration with vivid, fluid color, this large contemporary painting invites an open reading of identity, energy and transformation.
