Birds have always been one of my favorite subjects. I love watching them and often photograph them during my walks. These small, lively creatures bring joy and a sense of life wherever they appear. Early in the morning, their cheerful songs fill the garden, making every new day feel brighter and more peaceful.
This small original painting is a celebration of that everyday magic. It makes a thoughtful gift for any bird lover or nature enthusiast and brings a touch of warmth and light to any interior.
Although the format is compact, each painting requires many hours of careful work over several days. I use a layered acrylic painting technique, building up multiple transparent and opaque layers to create depth, rich color, delicate light, and soft shadows. Achieving this luminous effect is especially important to me—I love when my birds seem to glow, as if they are truly alive and illuminated by warm rays of sunlight.
