It’s always cheery to see the blackthorn in bloom, the first tree in Blighty to flower. Their bloom marks the first nail in winter’s coffin and it’s time of bloom indicates the kind of summer we are likely to have. The old phrase ‘the sooner the better’ is apt.

This is an original relief print pulled from rubber plates, total edition of 10. Please feel free to contact me to ask a question or leave a remark.
