Two women share the same space, close enough to touch, yet each remains within her own world. Their bodies overlap while lines, colors, and fragments move through and around them, creating both connection and distance.
I was interested in that uncertain space between people what is shared, what remains private, and what can exist without being explained. The figures emerged gradually from the layers of the painting, and I allowed their relationship to remain unresolved.
