Between Tides captures the sea in a moment of suspension, where movement slows and colour takes over from detail. Soft bands of blue, grey and muted pink unfold across the water, interrupted by delicate reflections of light.

The almost weightless horizon separates sea and sky while allowing them to merge into one open, atmospheric space. Rather than portraying a particular place, the painting explores the changing perception of the sea through light, colour and rhythm.

Layered brushwork and a reduced composition bring the work close to abstraction, while the sea remains a quiet point of reference. The painting belongs to the ongoing Littoral series, exploring the meeting of land, sea, light and open space.

Oil on linen canvas, 40 × 60 cm. Stretched on a wooden stretcher, with painted edges and ready to hang without a frame. Signed on the back and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
