Inspired by a Tokyo street at dusk, this painting explores the transitional space between structure and atmosphere.

While Tokyo is known for its intensity, I am drawn to its narrower streets — places where scale contracts and the city feels momentarily softened. In this work, I reduced visual noise and allowed lavender and muted tones to shape the composition, adjusting the calmness of the scene to reflect how I experienced it.

The architecture remains present but understated, creating a quiet balance between solidity and air. Rather than documenting a specific location, the painting focuses on perception — on how light and haze gently reshape space at the end of the day.

Painted on acid-free 100% cotton watercolor paper using professional artist pigments.
Signed on the front, back, certificate of authenticity attached.
