Sometimes a painting doesn't begin with an idea. It begins with colours finding their own place.

For this work, I combined watercolor and oil, building one layer over another until the composition felt complete. Bright yellows, vivid pinks, deep blacks and cool blues meet without competing, creating a sense of balance between movement and stillness.

I like leaving the image open to interpretation. Some viewers discover an abstract landscape, others a distant city, blooming fields or reflections on water. The meaning changes with every glance, allowing each person to find something of their own between the layers.
