Artist's description:

This painting looks at the microscopic minutiae of life, what is real but cannot be seen with our normal sight with all its beautiful order & chaos. The motifs and space elude to familiar elements of the natural world, growing cells, hair fibres, dainty aquatic-life, kelp forests in the ocean. However I try to make the work ambiguous, not distinctly one nameable thing or another so that it suggests real things & acts as a memory trigger for recollections and reminiscences that reference our place in the fragile natural world.
