Before Rain (2026) Original Mixed-media Painting by David Hubbard
50 x 70 x 0.2cm (unframed) / 42.5 x 62.5cm (actual image size)
£220
Original artwork description
A work shaped by land, sea and sky in their simplest, most evocative forms. Drawing on the sensibilities of Tal R, Milton Avery, Patrick Heron and Hiroshige, the landscape is reduced to colour, line and space. What remains is not a fixed place, but a memory of one. The viewer is invited to inhabit these fields of colour and form their own landscape — a fleeting recollection of somewhere once known.

acrylics and ink
