Artwork description:

I love horses and this one is jumping an imagined and infamous Grand National fence - the dreaded Bechers Brook. I made this print from a linocut and printed it by hand in my home studio during 'lockdown'. The jockey riding lucky 7 has jumped the legendary hurdle and is heading home having successfully jumped the brook, notorious because of the 6 ft 9in drop on the landing side.

Materials used:

Lino, ink, paper
