Original artwork description
Cape Cod Massachusetts is a place I visit. From a pastel sketch done on location, I painted this in my Texas studio. The main thing I was trying to express was the contrast of orange and blue, and the feeling of landscape space. An empty beach is probably one of the most calm places one can go.
