The view is on the beach capturing the waves in the afternoon light. Painted in Gouache where I managed to create a colourful and interesting depiction of the beach waves and rocks. This is a sketch with a loose feel in blue hue colours. I really like painting en-plein-air as it is then possible to create a freshness that is not possible from a photograph.
