Bagare Thillmans Gård is a historic bakery building in Umeå, northern Sweden. This drypoint captures the symmetrical facade with its ornate entrance and the quiet presence of a cyclist pausing at the door, a moment between past and present.
This is a unique state print: every impression from the same plate is made individually through painting with coffee and the texture of the handmade paper. No two are identical. I have only made 10 of them; this is number 3.
Printed on handmade paper.
