Ayta centers on a human figure reduced to an intense, almost luminous presence. The body remains immediately recognizable, yet its individuality has been partially dissolved into color, contour and surface.
The figure appears suspended between representation and abstraction, while traces of erosion and displacement disturb the apparent simplicity of the image. What initially reads as a direct bodily presence gradually reveals a more unstable condition — an image that has been altered while still retaining the memory of its original form.
