This original oil painting investigates light, atmosphere, and perception through a reduced landscape language. Built with expressive palette knife marks and layered oil paint, the composition captures the raw energy of a stormy sky.

Dramatic cloud masses of blue, grey, and white converge around a luminous break of light, where pale yellow and mint tones radiate outward through turbulent forms. A dark silhouette of trees and a quiet field below anchor the scene, holding the storm at a distance.
