This original oil painting continues an investigation into light, atmosphere, and perception through a reduced landscape language. Built with expressive palette knife marks and layered oil paint, the composition balances abstraction with references to land, sky, and the movement of water through the landscape.

A luminous winding stream leads the eye through rolling green forms toward a distant horizon, while expansive cloud masses and shifting passages of light create a sense of atmosphere and depth. Contrasts between cool blues, greens, and subtle warm tones generate visual tension and movement across the surface.

Rather than depicting a specific location, the painting explores the experience of landscape as a space shaped by light, weather, and memory. Rich textures and layered color relationships reveal new details with sustained observation.
