At the Beginning... II (2026) Original Mixed-media Painting by Peter Stahr

The painting depicts a mysterious lakeside landscape. It is dominated by shades of red, green, purple, and blue, applied in many thin layers. Texture paste has also been used, mixed with sand in some areas. This unique mixture lends the painting a magical or mystical atmosphere and a positive sense of new beginnings. I painted this work at the beginning of a new project with clear goals but an unknown path ahead. Hence the title of the painting.
The sides of the painting are painted so that it can be hung even without a frame. The painting is signed on the front and back and is ready to hang. The painting’s surface has a protective varnish layer with UV protection.
