At Shadow's Edge (2026) Photograph by Ronald Anthony

101.6 x 55.88cm (unframed) / 91.44 x 45.72cm (actual image size)

£975

At Shadow’s Edge captures Pike O’Stickle bathing in sunlight as shadow slowly overtakes the valley below. The shifting light reveals the rugged structure of the fell, carving out its ridges and textures with striking clarity. Low cloud drifts across the mid‑slopes, adding scale and atmosphere while emphasising the contrast between the sunlit peak and the darkening landscape beneath.

The piece holds a sense of transition — a moment where the landscape sits between illumination and obscurity, form and silhouette. The pronounced chiaroscuro across the fell heightens this tension, revealing the mountain’s structure through the interplay of light and shadow. It’s a study of light’s fleeting geometry across one of the Lake District’s most distinctive peaks.

This is a giclée print on premium quality Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta fine art paper to ensure exceptional depth, detail, and longevity.

The image measures 36x18" with a 2" plain white border to make mounting and handling easier. Mount / frame not included.
