I also want to add that although this original painting has been categorised as being 'photo-realism' within the style definitions available on this site. I consider it just to have a high degree of realism. Difficult to see on a screen that does actually reduce the scale of a large painting to the size of a photograph. There are a few close-up images of details from the painting that I hope will illustrate what I'm trying to describe about the painted surface because there are some textures visible in the brush work (which wouldn't normally be the case for a photo-realist painting).
In a nutshell, and in my world, this painting sits just to the painterly side of photographic style paintings.
