After having lived in Senegal for some 10 years and then a couple of years in Spain, I moved to Sweden in 2022. What a change of scenery and climate! This painting was made during spring as I stayed at a friend's horse farm. The two wooly trees in the background are apple trees that are beginning to bud. What nice feeling to feel spring coming after a long and cold winter.
